What is the difference between light-filtering and blackout fabrics?

Light-filtering fabrics diffuse natural sunlight to create a warm, glare-free ambient glow while maintaining daytime privacy. Blackout fabrics feature an opaque backing (or metallic lining) that blocks up to 100% of incoming light, making them ideal for bedrooms, nurseries, and media rooms.

Should I choose an Inside Mount or an Outside Mount?

Inside Mount: Fits neatly inside the window frame for a clean, built-in architectural look. Requires a minimum window frame depth.

Outside Mount: Mounts on the wall or trim outside the window frame. Great for hiding imperfections, blocking extra side-light, or making windows appear larger.

How do motorized shades work, and are they hard to install?

Our motorized shades use whisper-quiet, rechargeable Lithium-ion batteries (no hardwiring required) or plug-in adapters. They can be operated via an RF remote control, a mobile app, or paired with smart home systems like Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple HomeKit for automated scheduling.

What kind of warranty do you offer?
